Position Responsibilities The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background, extensive development experience and proven ability to work in a high availability environment. Responsibilities: • Participate in full life-cycle development of J2EE application • Design, code, document, test and deploy software • Bug fixes and enhancements to the java-based web application • Quickly and effectively understand and translate product and business requirements into technical solutions Position Requirements Qualifications/Skills • BS or MS in Computer Science, or related field • 5-7+ years of relevant professional experience with J2EE applications • In depth knowledge and experience with Java, Struts, Hibernate, JSPs • JavaScript, CSS • Experience with Application Servers (JBoss, Websphere, Weblogic) • Oracle/SQL Server experience • Ability to manage time efficiently on product driven deadlines • Willingness and ability to learn on the job and explore new technologies, provide creative solutions to complex problems, and the confidence to participate and contribute within a fast-paced organization • Strong communication skills • Knowledge and experience of software development processes and methodologies • Experience using version control and bug tracking systems SunGard’s solutions for capital markets help banks, broker-dealers, futures commission merchants and other financial institutions improve the efficiency, transparency and control of their trading and processing.
