Position Responsibilities Responsible for assisting Relius customers with technology related concerns.  Typical activities would be supporting customers with Relius software installations, Oracle database server installation configuration and DR planning.  Diagnosing system errors and attempting to reproduce them locally if unfamiliar.  System performance tuning and diagnosis.  Must become proficient enough to become the designated Technology POC for certain high touch customers.  Must have excellent customer service skills, exceptional troubleshooting skills set and analytical mindset.  Must be able to grasp the big picture but also be able to drill down to the minute details.  Strong troubleshooting ability is crucial.  Able to work extended hours when necessary.  Ability to communicate effectively with customers of limited technical ability as well as those who have numerous technical certifications and skills sets that are far beyond our own.  Infrequent travel to customer locations to perform installation processes is required. Position Requirements • Work with customers and their technology teams in the US and overseas. • Assisting with Relius software installations and updates in production, pre-prod and test. • Diagnose and attempt to reproduce customer problems and engage QA and DEV as needed. • Work with developers and certifiers to identify and describe when a product bug is uncovered • Analytical problem solving skills. • Broad technology knowledge. • Diagnostic work to get to root cause of any issues. • Providing feedback to Development on needed improvements on serviceability. • Participating in after-hours on call support rotation. • Excellent team player. • Willing to become the primary POC for certain high value customers. • 3 or more years Windows experience. • 2 or more years Oracle and SQL Server Database experience a plus. • DR planning experience a plus. Technologies supported: • Knowledge and experience with SQLServer Database technologies. • Knowledge and experience with Oracle Database technologies. • Knowledge and experience with basic networking. • Knowledge and experience with Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8.x and Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012. • Knowledge and experience with IIS, Terminal Services. • Knowledge and experience with Windows security. • Knowledge and experience of Networking, routing and firewalls. • IVR and PBX experience/understanding a plus.
