Purpose
SITA has a full-time opportunity for an
experienced Lead Architect to define, design, build and grow our cloud
based Desktop As A Service and End User Computing product offering. This
is both an architecture and 'hand-on' opportunity on a cross-functional
team. The ideal candidate will be managing the end'to-end integration,
service level definitions, measurement and reporting, security, and
business continuity of all the components which compose the underlying
infrastructure of DaaS. Our agility to provide innovative solutions will
set us apart from our competition.
Moreover, SITA is rapidly evolving to embrace the changes which are
implied by the Cloud Service Model. To this extent, the ideal candidate
should have a good understanding of key operational processes in a
Service Provider environment.
The ATI Cloud mission covers the following functional areas:
- Designing and delivering advanced Cloud based DaaS solutions to ATI customers
- Transitioning knowledge of the Cloud infrastructure and services to Operations
- Translating business requirements into systems, applications and
process specifications, developments and implementations, in close
partnership with Central Operations and Solution Lines.
- Identifying new market needs through new technology to support ATI
Cloud business transformation and developing innovative commercial and
community services for the industry
POSITION PURPOSE
The position requires an individual to utilize their skills in the
consulting methodology, server-based computing concepts, Citrix and RES
products and technologies, software installation, and networking skills
on client engagements.
The candidate must be able to lead and individually solve problems
proactively and seek help from a wider forum if needed (i.e. suppliers,
knowledge base, manuals, etc.) when necessary. The position requires a
team player that seeks to supplement their skills through the use of
project experience, self-study manuals, and point of need training. Good
written and verbal communication skills are also required.
The candidate is primarily engaged on customer initiatives or
professional services engagements. The candidate will lead the technical
aspects and the development of project deliverables of standard
customer engagements of medium to high complexity.
The candidate is responsible for designing and implementing Citrix
XenApp, Citrix Netscaler, Citrix AppDNA's application migration solution
on customer sites, importing applications, setting up auto sequencing,
forward path scripts, generating reports and remediating reports;
The candidate will provide product demonstrations, technical training
and evaluations of Citrix and RES suite of applications to the platform
team. Upon completion provides a written report to handover by detailing
the work completed.

The
candidate works on internal and customer facing consulting projects of
low-to-medium complexity with significant responsibilities for
completion of entire project sections. The Candidate also lead
"standard" projects of low complexity.

components.
-Grows technical capacity beyond the core Citrix products and underlying
technologies. Able to breakdown complex problems into manageable pieces
and follow a structured process to resolve them.

-Stays up to date on the latest tools, methods, and measures both within Citrix and in the industry.

-Meet with project stakeholders to scope out work and set out the detail
in the statement of work (SOW), this must be agreed before any on site
work takes place.
-Ensure that the customer is equipped with the correct technical information and skills to continue business as usual.
-Plan and prepare implementations with project management skills to ensure a smooth execution against the SOW.
-Adapt to changing customers' needs and goals ensuring customer confidence and focusing on results throughout engagements.
-Own and project manager technical evaluations by working with prospects through proof of concept testing and implementation.
-Understanding the quotation phase of the sales process by providing
qualification of opportunities from a technical perspective, then
providing implementation pricing surrounding any services to be offered.
-Ensure that any customized solutions are fully documented and understood by Technical Support.
-Deliver training to customers on site and remotely to agreed objectives and departmental standards.
Education & Qualifications
Degree
in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering,
Mathematics, etc.) or sufficient work experience to demonstrate
proficiency at this level.
Experience
-Citrix Xenapp 6.5, 7, 7.5, Xendesktop design and deployment
-RES certified on Workspace and Automation Manager
-Netscaler design and deployment
-How to package software, MSI's/ exe's
-Experience with Microsoft SCCM & Active Directory
-Sequencing Microsoft App-V or Citrix XenApp technology
-SQL / scripting experience
-Deploying Windows 7 or XenDesktop
