SQL Security Framework Developer

SunGard requires a skilled Database Developer to support and develop databases in SQL Server 2008/12 environment, ensuring its peak performance and availability. This is a senior SQL Server Developer role largely responsible for providing operational database services to the Corporate Security organization. The ideal candidate for this position will have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and will use this experience to support processes in a production and pre-production environment. The ideal candidate will have an IT Security background with some working knowledge of the Classic.Net framework.

Candidate is required to provide development and management support for the Information Governance Portal (IGP) back-end systems, data imports, automation and general SQL related tasks including installations.



The candidate must posses the following experience:

1) 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA/ETL developer
2) 5+ years information security
3) Strong development methodology adherence.
4) Experience in Data Modeling (Logical and Physical Design of Databases), Normalization and building Referential Integrity Constraints.
5) Very good T-SQL Programming skills. Experience in query optimization & performance tuning. Used SQL Profiler, Execution Plan, Performance Monitor and DBCC Commands
6) Experience in Database backup, disaster recovery, Snapshot, Merges and Transactional.
7) Design and develop ETL processes using SSIS.
8) Created complex DTS Packages for Data Migration and Transformation.
9) Experience in data migration from Oracle/Access/Excel Sheets to SQL Server 2005/2000/7.0
10) Worked in OLTP & OLAP environment that includes Production (24x7), QA and development databases in SQL Server.
11) Experience in Dimensional Modeling, ER Modeling, Star Schema / Snowflake Schema, FACT and Dimensional tables and Operational Data Store (ODS).
12) Working knowledge of SSRS
13) Working knowledge of Oracle DB including DB maintenance processes.
14) Windows server admin skills to help with troubleshooting/infrastructure support
15) Web/Classic.NET coding experience an advantage.

Summary

IT Platform

Matrix Solutions operates on a mixed technical platform, consisting of Windows Server/IIS and RedHat Enterprise Linux 5 running Oracle 10 and 11, with Glassfish also in place across platforms.

Education/Experience
