Team Introduction:Our Community Portal Product is the primary entry point for our Airline Solutions and Travel Network customers accessing Sabre applications for running their operation, content and customer support. This team is working on web application that’s key to Airline Solution business. We provide a seamless solution for accessing Sabre products through single sign on and federation solution. As a Contributor QA Test Engineer on this team, you will have a direct impact on every stage of development, ensuring we deliver the right products to our customers. Starting at the inception of each new feature, you will provide insight into customer needs and requirements, expressed in test scripts, which will be relied on by the entire team to refine and guide code development. You will be a thought leader on the test team: refining test strategy, developing powerful new test automation tools, and guiding the approach of other team members so everyone benefits from the wealth of your ideas. You will also get chance to learn and implement the latest cutting edge test automation framework. This is not a traditional software test team. Contributor Software Quality Engineer
(ref. no: 00QDQ, Location: Kraków)

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:• Under general supervision, debugs moderately complex software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products.
• Serve as a technical strong & business-savvy resource to Software Engineering personnel on a range of testing issues. ?
• Conducts functional and test process consulting and coordinates testing groups
• Writing and executing test plans, designing and developing test tools, debugging and reporting code bugs and pushing quality upstream.
• Apply test automation design patterns and design, develop and automate test cases for front end, backend and integration features of web services based SOA products.
• Participate in the full development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters, including test plan execution and software quality needs.? Pro-actively improve the test coverage.
• Under general supervision, support the delivery of software development test suites and test automation frameworks.?
• Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
• Troubleshoot and isolate issues, file bugs and work with developers in resolving them.
• Understanding system and application performance characteristics.


QUALIFICATIONS:‘Must have’ skills:
• approx. 3 years of experience in web testing, test automation in a highly matrix-ed UNIX Environment?
• Proven ‘quick learner’ to solve complex testing problems in a short time?
• Has in-depth knowledge and experience of Test Automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium and QTP
• Proven Java programming experience
• Experience with Visual Basic Scripting language
• Deep understanding of SQL and how to write and execute SQL statements
• Experience with HP Quality Center / ALM or other test management tools
• Working experience with bug tracking tools, such as JIRA
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills?
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Capable of working independently and with development teams
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle management

‘Nice to have’ skills:
• Airline Industry domain knowledge
• Experience in performance testing and related tools, such as Load Runner, JMeter
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology
• Experience with Version One
