What we do each day

Sabre Hospitality Solutions (SHS) is a business unit within Sabre Holdings that focuses on the hotel industry. We provide hotel distribution, property management and reservation services to over 10,000 hotels worldwide.

We are somewhat obsessed with creating innovative technology solutions for hotels. We were the first software company to harness the cloud for our central reservation system (CRS), Synxis. JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist in the development and implementation of SHS product offering, focusing on the delivery of new Property Management System features and enhancements. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery. Follow projects plans and milestone plans for critical projects to ensure that they are developed and implemented on schedule. May assist in development of software technical documentation. Demonstrates software. Demonstrates broad knowledge of technical solutions. Designs and codes complex applications using advanced technology.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or next to.

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years developing using C# and .Net Technologies.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Working Knowledge of:

- C# and .Net Technologies (ASP.net, WinForms, ADO.net)

- MSSQL (writing and maintaining complex stored procedures)

- Web Services

- Multithreaded Applications

- Experience and understanding of developing tools.

- Analytical skill. Excellent communication skills in written and verbal.

- Demonstrated ability to understand and document internal and external processes and work flows.

PREFERENCES:

- Knowledge about Agile processes and tools.

- Working Knowledge of SVN or others Source Control Tools.

- Product Life Cycle: Working knowledge of phases of the product life cycle, including engineering specifications, customer requirements gathering, software design and development, testing - including unit, functional, systems and integration.

- Implementation/delivery and maintenance. Systems Integration: Knowledge of how different systems interact, including potential problems and difficulties that may occur.
