Marketing Solutions Engineering team has technology ownership of all
advertising and messaging products and solutions for advertisers to
reach the world's largest audience of professionals. This includes
offerings in brand and performance advertising, Company pages (for
various companies to establish a brand and experience on LinkedIn), and
monetization of the Company follower ecosystem. Collectively, this
represents more than 25% of LinkedIn’s revenue. Our systems power

- At least 5 years of experience in large-scale and high-performance search or advertising applications as a Senior Software Engineer, or equivalent position.
- Expert knowledge and production code experience in distributed web services, ideally in Java. Strong understanding of server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects.
- Mastery of design, coding and testing patterns.
- Thrives in a fast paced, test-driven, collaborative and agile development environment.
- Strong team player.
- Provide guidance, leadership and mentoring to peers and less experienced team members.
- Pro-actively collaborate with business and product management partners, and to design, build and optimize technical solutions for business success.
- MS/Phd in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
