Key responsibilities
Partner with supply chain leadership (planning, procurement, inventory, order management, logistics, manufacturing) to understand business processes and pain points.
Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and identify configuration vs. customization decisions.
Design and configure Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules such as Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), Purchasing (PO), iProcurement, Receiving, Work in Process (WIP), Bills of Material (BOM), Cost Management, Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)/MRP, and Warehouse Management (WMS) if applicable.
Create functional specifications for integrations, interfaces, reports, conversions, and extensions (FBDI, SQL, PL/SQL, APIs, Web Services, flat-file, EDI).
Collaborate with developers and integration teams to ensure solutions meet functional requirements; review technical designs and participate in code/solution walkthroughs.
Define and execute test plans: unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT); coordinate defect triage and resolution.
Prepare and deliver training materials, run training sessions and produce user documentation and SOPs.
Support cutover planning and execution for deployments and upgrades.
Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis, propose fixes and process improvements.
Maintain knowledge of Oracle EBS patches and module-specific enhancements; recommend upgrades or new features where beneficial.
Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices and governance.
Required qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
6+ years’ experience implementing/supporting Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules; 3+ years in a senior or lead analyst role preferred.
Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution industry
Experience in Oracle EBS 11i and R12
Deep functional expertise in at least four of the following: Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing/Procurement, WIP/BOM, Costing, WMS, ASCP/MRP.
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes: order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, demand planning, inventory management and fulfillment.
Hands-on experience producing functional designs, test scripts, user guides, and training materials.
Experience with integrations, familiarity with Oracle Adapter frameworks and middleware is a plus.
Ability to use Oracle SQL for troubleshooting and data analysis.
Experience with Oracle EBS upgrade projects, patching and module enhancements is preferred.
Languages: English (advanced), Spanish (native).
Technical and soft skills
Technical: Oracle EBS modules. Oracle SQL, basic PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Apps knowledge, knowledge of reporting tools (BI Publisher, OTBI) is a plus, data conversion and integration approaches.
Analytical: strong problem solving, process modeling, gap analysis and requirements translation skills.
Communication: excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage at business and technical levels.
Project skills: experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods, ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
Leadership: mentoring experience, ability to lead workshops and facilitate cross-functional alignment.
Certifications (preferred)
Oracle E-Business Suite Supply Chain certifications (e.g., Oracle Inventory, Order Management)
APICS/CPIM, CSCP or other supply chain certifications
Working conditions
Occasional travel to business sites or vendor locations may be required.
May require extended hours during major implementations, upgrades, and go-lives.

Reduction in support incidents and resolution time post-deployment.
Improvements in supply chain KPIs (order fill rate, inventory turns, on-time delivery) attributable to delivered solutions.
