Job Summary:


We are looking for an experienced Oracle 11i/R12 ERP Developer to join our ERP development team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customizations and enhancements within Oracle E-Business Suite versions 11i and R12. This role requires strong technical expertise in Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Workflows, and integration components, along with a good understanding of the functional aspects of Oracle ERP modules.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and support customizations, extensions, and integrations in Oracle E-Business Suite 11i and R12 modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, and others.

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports to meet business requirements.

Write and optimize PL/SQL code including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.

Develop and maintain Oracle Workflows and BI Publisher reports.

Perform data migration, interface development, and API integrations.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle ERP applications.

Collaborate with functional business analysts and users to gather and analyze requirements.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

Document technical designs, development processes, and changes.

Support upgrades and patching activities between Oracle 11i and R12 environments.

Stay current with Oracle ERP best practices, new features, and enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite 11i and R12 development.

Strong expertise in Oracle Forms and Reports development.

Proficient in PL/SQL programming and database objects.

Experience with Oracle Workflow Builder and BI Publisher.

Knowledge of Oracle ERP modules such as Financials (AP, AR, GL), SCM, HRMS, or others.

Experience in data migration tools like SQL*Loader, APIs, and interfaces.

Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Familiarity with Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) is an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience with Oracle ERP upgrade processes from 11i to R12 and code retrofits.

Preferred Qualifications:


Oracle E-Business Suite Developer Certification.

Experience with concurrent programs and interface development.

Exposure to Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud, or Web Services.

Mission:

SunGard Global Trading provides the US and international financial community with a complete range of software solutions covering Trading & Order Management software (from Front to the Back office), risk management, an extensive order routing network, market data and other dedicated services.

Position:

As a Database Production Support team member, the candidate’s responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:

• Manage, monitor and maintain all aspects of Oracle 10G and 11G databases on both Windows and Unix files systems in medium sized trading environment including, Development, User Acceptance Testing, Production and Disaster Recovery environments.
• Maintain Oracle database RMAN and expdp backups
* Manage Oracle ASM (RAC) partitions
• Perform logical and physical restores
• Test, apply and maintain functional and security patches
• Assess and Tune Oracle database based on monitoring and application performance requirements.
• Provide second and third level troubleshooting of problems related to proprietary Oracle schemas, stored procedures, report generation and batch processing
• Manage Oracle licensing and support contracts
• Responsible for projecting storage requirements, upgrade requirements, patching requirements
• Creation, modification and troubleshooting of stored procedures
• Modification and/or creation of shell scripts
• Address alerts received from various monitoring tools or Operations groups following the required  protocols
• Support proprietary applications related to Oracle databases
• Assist with configuration of monitoring tools
• Assist Operations teams to ensure timely submission of daily compliance files and trade reports
• Troubleshoot/Assist with Trade report generation/regeneration
• Manage outages of Oracle, application or underlying hardware failures as related to Oracle; includes researching root cause, utilizing vendor support, and providing standard RCA for Oracle related failures.
• Assist with enhancing and updating Operational procedures as related to the maintenance of Oracle
• Strictly adhere to change control procedures
• Take part in company on call support rotation
• Participate in after hours and weekend maintenance work, failover testing, client testing.



Required Skills

• At least 5 years, preferably 7-10 years of experience performing job function in a Unix environment
• In depth knowledge of database theory
• Understanding of data and database security
• Deep understanding of Unix operating system with understanding of how Oracle utilizes memory, CPU, swap
• Experience with RMAN and expdp backup/restore functionality
• In depth understanding of disk hardware architecture, RAID implementation, cache controllers, and disk load balancing
• Proficiency with Oracle databases running on Windows 2008 Server
• Adept at Oracle performance tuning
• Ability to read and understand complex queries and stored procedure code written in PLSQL
• Ability to write complex queries and simple stored procedures.
• Good communication skills and flexible schedule
• Solid understanding of UNIX, specifically but not limited to Linux RedHat and Windows 2008 Server operating systems
• Familiar with reading and modifying shell scripts (Bourne, Korn, C, Bash Shells)
• Familiarity with UNIX cron job scheduling
• Basic understanding of networking concepts

TSYS Loyalty & Prepaid is looking for an experienced PL SQL / DBA developer to design, develop, test and tune high volume, financial services batch operations based on Oracle 10G and 11G. Responsibilities include the design and development of PL SQL packages / procedures, functions, triggers, views, etc., database schema design and tuning of a variety of mission-critical batch oriented applications. Candidates must be able to deliver within established timelines and must have strong organizational & communication skills.

Responsibilities

Under little to no supervision, develops and builds batch oriented applications for internal and external clients in a fast-paced project oriented environment.

Professionally communicates with clients and receives business requirements from client.

Collaborate with application architects, developers, business analysts and management team to design, develop, test and document batch oriented applications.

Provide design options, alternatives and recommendations based on experience and best practices.

Education/Experience

Must have hands-on PL/SQL development experience.

Must have extensive experience tuning and optimizing within Oracle 10G and 11G.

Database performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

Relational data modeling skills. Experience designing and developing new databases schemas is a plus but not required.

Strong knowledge of common Oracle tools, utilities and packages.

Candidate must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to discuss business requirements and articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms is an absolute necessity. Responsibilities:

Process Enablement & Optimization

  • Engage, coordinate and align with business partners on projects.
  • Manifests broad domain expertise in business processes and systems.
  • Leads and guides team on delegated project activities.
  • Ensure disciplined development methodology is followed for continuous evolution and optimization for the Oracle solutions.
  • Analyze and design customizations and extensions using the Oracle recommended framework or tool sets.
  • Analyze advice and coordinate module processes, configure changes, application enhancements, and recommend solutions to maximize the effectiveness of the Oracle Applications.

Support & Compliance

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science. MBA or a MS in Information Systems preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years managing and leading a team of business analysts and developers.
  • 8+ years of experience in implementation, development, process re-engineering and support of Oracle EBS applications Suite mainly Oracle Financials which include all aspects of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Global Intercompany, Sub-Ledger Accounting, Cash Management, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Purchasing, EB Tax, Approvals Management, Oracle Time and Labor and Oracle Self-service applications
  • 4+ years’ experience in delivery, deployment and support (on-shore and off-shore) for an Oracle ERP in a global company.
  • Must have strong understanding of SOX controls, compliance and change management for business systems.

Tetra Tech is a looking for a self-motivated, skilled Database Administrator. This position initially will require 70% SQL Server and 30% Oracle database administrative duties and will adjust over time. It requires someone who is a senior level SQL Server DBA and a mid-level Oracle DBA. This position would be the link between the application and business teams and will facilitate database migration, consolidation, and daily system support from various offices into Enterprise Database Farms.

Minimum Requirements
Candidate shall have bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or minimum four years of technical experience in database administration or other technical field. Also, required to have four or more years of database administration experience in Microsoft SQL; two years of Linux Oracle database administration. Candidate should have sound time management and planning skills, good oral and written communication skills; and as needed manage small to medium size database projects in conjunction with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities:

Process Enablement & Optimization
  • Conduct requirement gathering, review and design flows for projects with focus on process improvement

  • Proficient at multitasking and prioritization of projects and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply advanced hands-on knowledge and ability to perform database administration tasks on Oracle RAC, ASM and Data Guard;

Key responsibilities


Partner with supply chain leadership (planning, procurement, inventory, order management, logistics, manufacturing) to understand business processes and pain points.

Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and identify configuration vs. customization decisions.

Design and configure Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules such as Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), Purchasing (PO), iProcurement, Receiving, Work in Process (WIP), Bills of Material (BOM), Cost Management, Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)/MRP, and Warehouse Management (WMS) if applicable.

Required qualifications and experience


Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

6+ years’ experience implementing/supporting Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules; 3+ years in a senior or lead analyst role preferred.

Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution industry

Experience in Oracle EBS 11i and R12

The position is for a Senior Database Engineer who will work on Oracle databases in 10g and 11g running on Sun Solaris System. The candidates are expected to have in-depth knowledge of Oracle database administration on Sun Solaris platforms.

Must be well versed with performance tuning, database modelling and database upgrades Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep and administration of the production and test Oracle databases and Sun Solaris platforms and other layered products
- Perform Oracle upgrades and patch maintenance
- Implement and maintain a backup and recovery strategy
- Database performance monitoring, SQL tuning and network administration
- Troubleshoot performance and other problems with Oracle and Solaris
- Off office hour support is required occasionally

Qualifications

JOB SPECIFICATIONS – REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3-4 years working experience of which a minimum of 2 years of administration of Oracle (9i/10g/11g) databases on Solaris system.
- Experience with administering RAC (Real Application Clusters)
- Excellent command of PL/SQL and SQL and Unix shell scripting is a must
- Experience with VERITAS Volume Management, VERITAS Cluster is an added advantage
- University graduate with Computer Science degree or equivalent.
- Oracle Certified Professionals (OCP) will have a definite advantage
- Well versed with Database Modelling, normalizations, performance optimizations etc
- Oracle Network administration, troubleshooting connectivity and network performance
- Must be able to multitask and work with diverse teams under pressure and tight schedules.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with good communication and presentation skills
- Must be passionate about the latest Oracle technology and trends

 As part of our Technical Services team, you will provide operational DBA duties across our numerous Oracle databases that play a key part in our offering of business intelligence tools.

Working with the Senior DBA, the successful candidate will be responsible for the successful operation or our various Oracle database servers, and providing advice and guidance to development teams and data analysts.

In addition to taking responsibility for backups, performance and size monitoring as well as system upgrades and security patches, you will be working with the product development and project delivery teams, to provide SQL scripts, stored procedures and packages as required.


The DBA also works closely with our application developers to review and ensure that new solutions work seamlessly in our existing systems framework.
Job Requirements :
 
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle as user/developer (PL/SQL).
  • Good knowledge of Oracle DBA tasks and processes (although this might not have been the candidates primary role).
  • Knowledge of networking principles and terminology including DHCP/DNS.
  • Logical thinker.
  • Good communicator.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
  • Oracle certification.
  • Exposure to Linux (ideally RedHat).
  • Exposure to Microsoft SQLServer

Nb. Some “out of hours” (early morning/late evening and weekend) work is required: systems upgrades and testing cannot always be performed in normal working hours due to the needs of both internal users and external clients, and systems failures must be dealt with as and when they occur. About the Role

The FinTech team, part of the CFO’s organization, is responsible for innovating and building the best financial products and systems in the world. As a Senior Application Developer on our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team, you will take a lead role in transforming a critical business process: headcount and workforce planning. You will be at the center of a high-visibility project to migrate our internally-built headcount management tool to Oracle's cloud-native Workforce Planning module. This is a crucial initiative to create a more integrated, scalable, and efficient planning ecosystem for our Finance partners and business leaders. This role is supported by a Lead Product Manager who oversees the EPM portfolio, and you will work alongside other application developers who own other critical financial applications.

What You'll Do

  1. Lead the Migration: Spearhead the end-to-end migration from our custom Phoenix application to the Oracle Workforce Planning (WFP) module, ensuring a seamless transition for our business stakeholders.
  2. Partner with Finance: Work directly with the Finance and cross-functional teams in our NYC office to deeply understand their headcount planning processes, data flows, and strategic objectives.
  3. Architect the Solution: Translate complex business requirements into a robust, scalable, and efficient solution within the Oracle EPM Cloud ecosystem. Design and configure the Workforce Planning module to meet Uber's unique needs.
  4. Build and Integrate: Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated planning, forecasting, and reporting models within Oracle EPBCS, with a primary focus on WFP. Build and support data integrations between Oracle Cloud, our data warehouse, and other source systems.
  5. Drive Project Execution: Manage project communications, milestones, and deliverables. Proactively identify and solve challenges to ensure the project remains on track.
  6. Empower Users: Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and conduct comprehensive end-user training to drive adoption and ensure our Finance partners are successful on the new platform.
  7. Stay Ahead of the Curve: Remain current with market developments and EPM best practices to ensure Uber’s EPM environment is in line with changing requirements and cutting-edge technological solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Deep expertise in Oracle Workforce Planning (WFP) is required.
  2. Strong functional understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, particularly in the area of headcount and workforce management.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle's EPM products and associated data integration tools.
  2. Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle migration from a custom-built or legacy planning system to an Oracle EPM Cloud solution.
  3. Proficiency in writing complex business rules using Groovy scripts.
  4. Strong experience with EPM integration tools (e.g., Data Management, Oracle Integration Cloud), EPM Automate, SQL, and expertise in building and maintaining both ASO and BSO cubes.
  5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$180,000 per year - USD$200,000 per year.
