- Participate in code development and unit testing to deliver the high quality product for external and internal customers.
- Support and maintain in-house developed products.
- Participate in database designing.

Required Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in developing and supporting products using ASP.NET, VB.Net, C#.Net, Winforms, SQL Server.

- Knowledge of design patterns and creating test scripts is required.
Good to have Skills:

Position OverviewThis position is responsible for Thomson Reuters Lipper’s 24x7 Sybase and MSSQL database services. This requires in-depth Sybase T-SQL & database administrator skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage Thomson Reuters Lipper’s databases hosted in multiple data centers globally.
- Production database services 24 hours a day seven days a week.
- Provide database services that are highly available and reliable, as measured by mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR).
- Apply database changes on a schedule basis.
- Install & Patch database as needed (Sybase).
- Resolve problems in a timely manner according to SLAs.
- Performance Tuning of databases (Query Tuning, Disk Tuning and system optimization).
- Application trouble shooting from the database layer. Includes T-SQL troubleshooting.
- Responsible for backup & recovery of database services.
- Knowledgeable of Sybase Security best practices.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Good English communication skills.Required Skills and Experience (must have):
- 3-5 Years of database administration experience.
- 3 years of T-SQL programming experience.
- 1-2 years of Sybase replication server experience.
- 1-3 years of Linux experience.
- 1-3 years Shell scripting experience (Bash, Ksh ).Preferred Skills and Experience (nice to have):
- 1-2 years MS-SQL Server
- 1-2 years of Oracle experience

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in computer related field and a minimum of five years' experience in software design and development or a combination thereof

Eikon Data Cloud project aims to centralize various federated data sources into a unified data cloud and provide high performance content and analytics access to the consumers of the cloud and downstream Eikon platform components. Position Summary: As an Automation engineer for the Eikon Data Cloud project, the position requires working as a part of quality team for software validation and release, using various programming techniques to create software tools and utilities for automated test executions.

You will be involved in testing server-side applications that encapsulate the storage, processing, dissemination and business logic related to the Thomson Reuters Analytics contents. As such you will have a unique opportunity to manipulate diversified and large contents sets, to test service-oriented architectures used to build truly decoupled distributed systems and to evaluate distributed applications for large-scale data-intensive applications.

Job Duties:
- Serve as an Automation Engineer [Individual Contributor] in the Quality Assurance team.
- Review requirements/design documentation, create and maintain Test Plans, scenarios and test cases.
- Create and maintain automation scripts using varied programming languages/scripts: Python, Java script, C#, Java technologies, SQL, REST/SOAP web services on Linux and Windows platforms.
- Automate and execute Black/White box, system, integration and end user tests.
- Follow agile guidelines and facilitate Test driven development methodology.
- Demonstrate an interest in the financial market data domain and the ability to master one or more content sets
- Proactively communicate with developers and product/business analysts to resolve issues.
- Be an advocate for Quality Assurance and automation throughout the project life cycle. Adhere to QA Standards and best practices.
- Be an active participant in the overall team objectives and improvement initiatives.
- Support software build, deployment and release procedures.
- Participate in monthly Production install validation activities and off-cycle prod validations as necessary.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related.
- 2-5 years of experience with software testing and test automation. Hands on testing experience with smoke, regression, system, integration, UATs, Black box and Code flow tests.
- Knowledge of Agile and test driven development methodologies.
- Automation scripting and programming using SQL, Shell, Python, C#, Java Script, REST/SOAP on windows and Linux platform.

Engineer will be responsible for ongoing development & support of Street Events product infrastructure with focus on inbound feed ingestion, Web Services and outbound feeds to internal and external consumers.Design, Deploy and Maintain a large databases, contstantly tune the database for optimal throughput/delay performance to achieve millisecond-range response times for most analytics requests and work closely with the OS & storage engineers to provide hardware and os-level and storage recommendations.
