- Investigates and mitigates all classes of data breaches to ensure Paychex data integrity and compliance with state laws.
- Investigates inappropriate use of Paychex assets in order to support Human Resources or Corporate Counsel research.
- Investigates network intrusion attempts perpetrated against Paychex by internal and external sources to ensure data integrity.
- Evaluates and analyzes potentially malicious software to develop detection and prevention processes.
- Investigates and communicates newly discovered threats and vulnerabilities to appropriate Paychex personnel for awareness and resolution.
- Participates in Information Technology related projects to ensure industry best practice and Paychex internal security standards are being met.
- Leads computer forensic investigations to provide necessary data to Human Resources and Corporate Counsel.
- Provides metrics and trending data surrounding data security breaches to ensure Paychex has a good understanding of their security risk environment
- Develops and communicates time sensitive security bulletins for training and awareness to Paychex employees alerting them to potential external threats.
- Provides counsel, advice and guidance to junior level SIU Analysts in order to share knowledge.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s
degree in Information Security, Forensics, Computer Science, or
Information Technology is preferred and 3 to 5 years of experience. An
equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
