Job Description :
Software Engineer, Content Integration Engineering, FactSet Research Systems, Inc., Norwalk, CT: Develop & maintain software solutions to load, integrate, and maintain 1st and 3rd
party financial data onto the FactSet platform. Duties Include:
evaluate data files & formats, design database schemas, write &
maintain production systems to load & normalize data. Provide
on-call support for content sets & production systems. Coordinate
with FactSet collection efforts, and provide support to consumers of
content & content systems. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s
degree, or higher, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related
technical field and 2 years of software engineering industry experience
using C++ as well as UNIX/Linux shell scripting. Must also possess
experience with leveraging existing frameworks to expose data to
application platforms, enhancing frameworks for consumption of data both
on and off-platforms and working autonomously in all phases of the
software development life cycle. This position qualifies for the
