Responsibilities
- Participate in product requirement and design reviews
- Manage your development stories in Pivotal Tracker
- Participate in iOS product development
- Work with peers and testers to maintain a high level of software quality
- Collaborate with other Thomson Reuters development teams to leverage existing applications and infrastructure
- Develop time-estimates for work assignments
- Stay current on mobile development technologies and industry trends
- Quickly adapt to new technologies and processes

Qualifications
- A four-year degree in Computer Science or related field or Associates Degree and related experience or equivalent industry experience
- Prefer some experience in a technology development environment, with 1+ years experience building applications for iOS (iPhone and/or iPad).
- Ability to work with business users, subject matter experts, project managers, software engineers and testers to deliver robust solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment. Ability to balance and prioritize multiple concurrent projects effectively.

- Assist in troubleshooting, analyzing client related issues and providing timely updates and resolutions.
- Receives requests from customers/support team for service or problems resolution; prioritizes requests and routes to appropriate staff for action; updates customer requests on sales force and tracks the progress of service and problem resolution; contacts customers/Support team to keep them informed of the status of their requests
- Actively participates in the testing and implementation of new systems
- Documents production problems for appropriate action
- Establishes and maintains cooperative and supportive relationships with External and Internal customers, infrastructure teams.
- Work on internal projects especially deployment of products into various testing environments, COB environment.
- Proactively work on housekeeping jobs for application servers
- Proactively keep the app support knowledge base updated with the latest issues and resolutions
- Work on Integration projects with External Clients in close coordination with the relationship managers who are the account owners.
- Run adhoc reporting requests from relationship management team and bank relationships team.
- Run Month end location specific reports upon request.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications:
- Graduate in Information systems
Required Skills and Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in this area.
- Indepth knowledge of FIX protocol
- Proficient in Programming languages : JAVA, Perl, Python , Eclipse IDE, Shell
- Good knowledge of SQL and Oracle database
- Good knowledge of Excel and Excel VBA programming
- Fair knowledge of Basic Network troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work with clients in gathering requirements and propose solutions
- Troubleshooting skills
- Must be willing to work on Public holidays and weekends if required.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Good knowledge of FX, Options products, Multi bank portals

- Collaborates with globally-based support colleagues to further investigate issues with Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform software components in client environments.
- Applies and leverages knowledge and expertise of enterprise platform components to provide thorough technical analysis and issue replication of complex issues.
- Works with development teams as needed to bring issues to resolution.
- Participates in system engineering support case reviews.
- Contributes to product and internal documentation.
- Handles multiple complex issues in a challenging, dynamic technical environment.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
- 3 or more years of computer software industry experience in realtime, multithreaded systems, with an emphasis on problem analysis.
- Knowledge and experience in realtime C/C++ programming.
- Experience in network programming (e.g., sockets, TCP/IP, UDP, multicast).
- Solid, demonstrated experience with Linux/Solaris and Windows operating systems - including shell scripting, system tools, procedures - that aid in the operation and troubleshooting of software components that operate in those environments.
- Strong, demonstrated analytical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.

We are seeking a highly motivated software engineer with 5+ years of experience in systems engineering in the financial industry. As a Lead support engineer on our team, you will work closely with a very experienced team supporting our industry-leading Enterprise platform.

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with globally-based support colleagues to further investigate issues with Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform software components in client environments
- Applies and leverages knowledge and expertise of enterprise platform components to provide thorough technical analysis and issue replication of complex issues
- Works with development teams as needed to bring issues to resolution.
- Participates in system engineering support case reviews
- Contributes to product and internal documentation.
- Handles multiple complex issues in a challenging, dynamic technical environment

Qualifications

Required Skills:
- 5 or more years of computer software industry experience in realtime, multithreaded systems, with an emphasis on problem analysis
- Knowledge and experience in realtime C/C++ programming
- Experience in network programming (e.g., sockets, TCP/IP, UDP, multicast).
- Solid, demonstrated experience with Linux/Solaris and Windows operating systems - including shell scripting, system tools, procedures - that aid in the operation and troubleshooting of software components that operate in those environments
- Strong, demonstrated analytical troubleshooting skills
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Market data industry, and Thomson Reuters Enterprise platform (TREP) experience a strong plus.
- Bachelors degree in CS, Engineering or related is required; masters preferred

Position Overview Reporting to a Regional Team Leader of Business Analysis, the job role is for a member in a team of Business Analysts responsible for specifying, managing and delivering all data feed related requirements for several Thomson Reuters systems and businesses.

These requirements range from externally-driven mandatory to business-driven discretionary, encompassing aspects which cover data, technical, and service. The role will focus not only on authoring the detailed requirements for data feeds, but also assists with implementation of those requirements, working with a multi-functional team to ensure their thorough documentation, understanding and delivery.

The responsibilities for the Development Business Analyst include, but are not limited to:

- Acts as a liaison between various local technology teams, support teams, and business units to analyze, document, review, and secure agreement on business requirements for specific Exchange and Contributed data feeds.
- Acquires and analyzes technical data feed specifications, and authors a variety of requirements documents which detail how a particular data feed will be processed by Thomson Reuters systems. Requirements documentation will be a sufficient level of detail so as to ensure clarity for both Technologists and the Business.
- Participating in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements based on business unit or client requests.
- Development and execution of various test plans, specifically focused on data quality and data functionality.
- Prepare status updates for projects and consolidation of periodical reports
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with market data sources ensuring that product related changes are communicated and understood within the organization. Specific focus is placed around supplier notification of required changes to ensure Thomson Reuters systems are fit to purpose “Day 1.”
- Provide Service Support and Maintenance of existing Exchange and Contributed data feeds.

Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelors Degree in any discipline, although Computer Science, Mathematics, or MIS is preferred or significant experience in the collection, normalisation and distribution of real-time data feeds. Required Skills:
- Strong experience within a financial market data related environment
- Strong experience working with environments that communicate system to system, with limited end-user displays available.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous Technical Writing experience is preferred.
- Fair knowledge and understanding of technology concepts, including the ability to acclimate quickly to unfamiliar environments.Desired Skills:

Through the APIs written in our group, our clients are able to access this wealth of information. They use the APIs to create their own user Interface, algorithmic trading applications, or any other analytical application for accessing the data. This includes real-time and historical prices from data vendors, exchanges, and brokers; real-time and historical news from the press, the web and internal analysts; as well as internal calculations and other forms of proprietary information used to support crucial decisions.

The API team develops cross platform (Windows, Linux, Solaris) APIs in Java, C++and C, which allows clients to publish and consume market information. This can be done through the TREP system or directly to Custom Feeds, 3rd Party Applications, or Reuters Direct Exchange Feeds (RDF-D). The candidate will be actively doing software development in Java to support the API product line.

Qualifications

Required candidate skills:
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of professional experience testing and writing scripts for API and infrastructure products
- Full life cycle development: requirements gathering, analysis and acceptance testing
- Strong working knowledge with object-oriented design.

We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Hong Kong on a contract/temporary basis. This role is to help create a new internal system to collect estimates for a number of major market-moving indicators and distribute to Thomson Reuters desktop and data feed products globally.
The data entry tool will likely be split between a web-based application and Windows desktop component, primarily written in C# and ASP.NET. The back-end database will be Oracle 11g.

Responsibilities: -

- Develop, publishes and executes test plans/test cases with support from the Group Leader/Supervisor
- Receive/record results of testing to maintain and publish defects/issues for the business development product and customer support teams
- Produces tests reports for consumption by management
Requirements: -
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a technology related field
- Experience with functional defect tracking tools
- Experience with QA tools such as HP QC/Test Director, QTP, Silk Performer, Silk Test, Rational Robot or with general scripting (Pearl, VBA) would be beneficial, but not required

- 7+ years of software development experience
- Advanced knowledge of .NET framework, C# and Multi-threading
- Solid knowledge of UI desktop development, WPF experience strongly preferred - Past experience with C++, Win32 and COM is a huge plus.

We do not anticipate using C++ or COM in everyday work, but this experience is useful for troubleshooting difficult problems, and for integration with legacy applications.
