delivering outstanding service to our clients. The Systems Analytics
team helps accomplish this with a suite of monitoring and reporting
tools which keep our engineers apprised of any potential issues which
may affect our clients’ experience.
We are seeking an independent and creative person to fill the role of Software Engineer within the Information Systems department at FactSet Research Systems. The Information Systems department develops and maintains business systems that support all of our employees worldwide. An ideal candidate for this position has a proficient mix of technical, analytical, and communication skills.

Job Requirements :
+ BS or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent
+ 2+ years of experience in Operations with monitoring networks and servers
+ Willingness to learn and work with a variety of development tools and technologies
+ Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
+ Display effective communication and organizational skills within a team
+ Develop and maintain hardware monitoring tools
+ Provide excellent customer service
+ Provide support to our end users to help them debug issues detected by our monitoring tools
+ Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule
Desired Skills:
+ Development experience with the .NET Framework (C#, Visual Studio)
+ Advanced design concepts like multithreading applications
+ Familiarity with the MVC design pattern
+ Experience with both Windows and web services (WCF)
+ Experience querying and managing large databases
+ Mastery of several scripting and programming skills
